TERMS and CONDITIONS
DEPOSITS: Deposit payment for courses can be made by Paypal, note fees apply, cheque or postal order and bank transfer to either HSBC or Barclays banks.
FINAL PAYMENT FOR YOUR COURSE: This must be paid no later than 10 days before the course date.
COURSE MANUAL: You will receive your course manual via email once payment has been received in full. You are required to read through this, thus allowing for the whole of the training day to be devoted to hands on training. If you prefer to receive your manual through the post, this will incur an additional cost of £5.00 per manual. You will require your manual with you for reference on the training day.
CANCELATION POLICY: When a place has been confirmed, the booking fee is non-refundable. Fees will only be refunded if the course is full, or in the unlikely event that the course / workshop is cancelled.Course date change £25 administration fee will apply.
NUMBERS: Numbers are purposely kept low in order to ensure maximum tuition for all. All courses are available on a one-to-one basis. Please ask.
PUBLIC COURSES: If the required numbers of students are not met, your course will be rescheduled. You will be given the option of accepting the reschedule, or a refund in full. If unforeseen circumstances arise, and your chosen course date has to be cancelled, you will be offered alternative dates or venues. If you cannot attend this date, a refund in full will be made.
INSURANCE: The responsibility lies with the participant/student to check with their insurers that the course is acceptable for their cover before booking. All our courses are validated for insurance purposes through Towergate Professional Risks. Towergate is both GISC registered and has approval from the Financial Services Authority. CERTIFICATES/DIPLOMAS: Certificates and Diplomas are issued at the end of the training day. Participants/students must have demonstrated that they have achieved the required level of competence. If the occasion arises that the tutor deems non-compliance, the participant/student will be invited back to retake the course at no further cost.
COURSE TIMES: Most courses will run from 10am – 4.30pm/5pm approx. Arrival please at 9.45am Arrival more than 30mins after commencement of the course will be disruptive and you may not be allowed to join the course. In this case, you would lose your payment.

Do not drink alcohol within 48 hours before the course date. You are advised that all premises have a risk assessment carried out prior to the training day. Hands-on-Workshops accept no liability for injury or loss to person or property throughout.
